Chimney Repair & Rebuilds
Our crew comes from a masonry background, and it shows in our chimney work. Cracked crowns, spalling brick, failed flashing, and leaning stacks are what we fix every week. A failing chimney leaks into the same walls your roof protects — the two go together, and we handle both.
What's included
- Repointing (tuckpointing) with properly matched mortar
- Chimney crown repair and replacement
- Chimney flashing — the #1 source of "roof" leaks
- Stainless caps and spark arrestors
- Partial and full chimney rebuilds
- Waterproofing with breathable masonry sealer
Common questions
My chimney leaks but the roofer said the roof is fine — who is right?
Possibly both. Most chimney leaks come from the crown, the mortar joints, or the flashing where chimney meets roof. Because we do both roofing and masonry, we fix the actual cause instead of pointing fingers.
Do I need a full rebuild or just repointing?
If the brick faces are popping off (spalling) or the stack is leaning, a partial rebuild from the roofline up is usually needed. If the mortar joints are receding but brick is sound, repointing solves it for a fraction of the cost.
